Holiday Parties With the Office

Office parties provide employees with the chance to become better acquainted and even to forge the bonds of real friendship.  Consider the following:

• Give thought to how you dress: Clothing too fancy for the occasion or too revealing is in poor taste, so it’s better to err on the side of conservatism.
• Wear your name tag if the function calls for them: Name tags are both necessary and useful at business functions attended by people from other departments or businesses.
• Behave professionally: Have a good time, but avoid drinking too much or making too-personal comments or jokes.
