Wedding Gifts: How Late is Too Late?
Gifts should be delivered as close to the wedding date as possible.
Most guests actually send gifts before the wedding, although some send them shortly after the wedding date as well. Gifts can be sent as soon as the wedding invitation arrives. Contrary to popular belief, guests do not have a year in which to send a gift. The gift should be sent within three months of the wedding, at the outside.
